They develop and update software, including system diagnostics and applications, and ensure secure and efficient storage, processing, and transmission of data.
  • Electrical Engineers: Oversees the ship’s power generation and distribution systems. They conduct repairs and upgrades on electrical systems and circuitry, as well as maintaining and repairing electrical components and circuits. They manage the ship’s primary and backup power sources, including reactors and energy cells, and ensure efficient distribution of power throughout the ship’s systems.
  • Hard-Light Engineers: These engineers specialize in the installation and maintenance of hard-light technologies. They implement and test new advancements in hard-light technology as well as maintain and troubleshoot user interfaces that rely on hard-light technology. Some focus on maintaining holographic interfaces and display systems and makes sure hard-light displays and interactive surfaces functions, such as the CL-10 Hard-Light Tablet.
  • Nanotech Engineers: Develop and manage nanotechnology applications for the ship, and utilize nanobots for repairing structural damage, system failures, and other maintenance tasks. They also work on advancements and new applications of nanotechnology for ship improvements.
  • Environmental Engineers: One of the less glamorous but more important subdivisions, environmental engineers manage waste processing and environmental controls, as well as maintain systems for air quality, water recycling, and overall environmental health.
