REGAINS
While Mnemosyne has made your character's past strange and fuzzy, passing the AC means that you are able to regain a memory for them.
The memory is either an instant flashback or a dream for the character, but the memory itself can be of a few minutes to a day. As an example, it might be a flashback to the very moment they lost a loved one, or their completely normal workday in canon.
(These memories can be accessed at any point during the following month, they do not need to happen immediately.)
Passing two ACs will make you able to give your character a memory or the ability to regain a power. A regained power will only be one ability, not the entire power section of their application.
Characters are free to experience deja vu, feelings or 'pings' of things they think are familiar or important at any time, but it will not have an actual memory going along with them. This can be a name, an item, anything that has a meaning to them in canon.
